Education

Highest Degree: Mrs. Kenaston's educational journey showcases her love for God and learning. She earned an associate degree in accounting and a bachelor of the arts in music education from Montemorelos University. Her graduate studies cover a broad spectrum, including elementary school and teaching certification in elementary education and school counseling, culminating in a Master of Education in Reading and Curriculum and Instructions from Southwestern Adventist University. She is in the final stages of completing her Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership and Administration K-12 from Andrews University. This summer, she traveled to Australia and New Zealand to study international Adventist and public institutions to enhance her standard-based skills and knowledge and project-based curricular activities and share these elements with our Northeast Georgia Christian Academy community.

Biography

Mrs. Kenaston, a highly dedicated educator, has recently joined our Northeast Georgia Christian Academy community from Northeast Texas, where she served as a teaching principal. With over twenty years of experience in the private and public educational systems, she has effectively assumed leadership roles, including leadership and educator, music chair and director, chaplain, school development and recruitment, reading specialist, and school administrator. This year, she has actively provided guidance, support, and instructional coaching to educators, colleagues, and school principals in public and private schools internationally and nationally, underscoring her unwavering commitment to supporting students, their families, and educators. Her wonderful family includes her husband, Peter, and their two sons, Hans and David.

Biography

Mr. Kenaston grew up in an Adventist Pastors home, who believed in Adventist Education.

After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, from Southern Adventist University, he served as an IT Specialist for several years in the corporate world. After which, God redirected him to be a certified, technology teacher for the past 12 years.

It is his privilege to serve the students at Northeast Georgia Christian Academy, along side his wife, Eulalia.
