Biography
Teaching is fun and rewarding. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education and have been involved in ministry with children for over 25 years in varying capacities and locations. God has taken me to the island of Yap in Micronesia to be a missionary and teach 8th grade, to teaching a multi-grade classroom in Mobile, Alabama, but also been involved with school administration as the administrative assistant. Ministry has also continued outside of school, both in Adventurers (church scout group) and Sabbath School lessons (at church). God has placed me in a variety of places, but it’s always more fun when it involves kids. I enjoy the cross-age learning that happens in a multi-grade classroom. In my classroom, we enjoy a variety of learning methods to help each student strengthen their weaknesses and encourage their strengths. I look forward to what God has in store for each student as we learn, explore and grow together mentally, spiritually, socially, and physically.
